My career path has been marked by substantial experience in diverse domains, including housing dynamics, homelessness, welfare rights, community development, advocacy, management, legal procedures, and support for asylum seekers/refugees. Collaborating across various sectors—statutory service providers, the voluntary sector, community groups, the private sector, and universities—has significantly broadened my expertise.

Having directly engaged with tenants and landlords through renowned organisations such as CAB, Shelter, Age Concern, local authorities, and social housing providers, my experience in housing initiatives has been hands-on and impactful.

Throughout my professional journey, academic knowledge has been complemented by practical involvement, culminating in the establishment of Warren James Properties. Our mission centres around delivering bespoke, high-quality housing solutions tailored to the needs of vulnerable community members. We focus on providing personalised tenancy support, nurturing essential living skills, and fostering independence.
